Merchants, looters, and ghosts

Mon Mar 31, 2008, 9:48 PM
Hi all!
By rights you should hate me for dissapearing like that. Truth is I've been having an awful time lately... what with my ongoing identity crisis and another pre-emptive best-friend breakup. Chances are when I make it through I won't even be Hatsu anymore. But when it's all over and I know what I really need to be, I'll make a new DA page, one for the real me and not some silly pretend boy I made for the internet. I'll probably be so different you won't rcognise me, but I know the good in my heart will still be there.
Toodles,
me.

DoGA Club Grading

  • Mood: Happy
  • Listening to: CRap. as in Chinese rap, yao.
  • Reading: The Jungle
  • Watching: Ghost in the Shell (I wish!)
  • Playing: Absolutely nothing... eep?
  • Eating: At the dining hall with chemical-flavor food
  • Drinking: Tea
Just a reminder to all my watchers: the DoGA club's late summer confrontation is up for review. It would be super cool if we could get some more people scoring the entries - as always, we made some cool stuff! You don't even have to know how to use DoGA to participate as a grader, just an appreciation for art (Actually, all you need is a computer. But we keep that a secret (and yes, this is still a secret, because nobody reads the stuff in parenthesis) because some people with computers are bad-weird. Not like us.).

Check it out!

It's midnight on a sunday, and people are still yelling in the halls. Time for a rant.

I've come up with a new meaning for the letters RPG. They're probably most familiar to us as Role Playing Game, but now they also stand for Red Pink Green. So what is an RPG?
RPGs tend to say things like "Male Capitalist Pigs (Capichauvitalinists) are destroying the environment."
When forced to participate in the market economy, we shop organic. And we know how to shop.
We make up pseudonyms like Karly Marx or Allison Gore.

Reds are Socialists (although in my case it's also Native Americans)
Pinks are Feminists (the somewhat contradictory femininity-embracing type)
And Greens are Environmentalists.
And I'm all of those.

So I'm an RPG. Unfortunately if you play me, you won't level up or find rare items (but you may have to gather your party before proceeding). But yeah, I'm a communist, feminist, and environmentalist. Sleep-deprivation makes me want to tell the world.

Transmission Resumed

Somewhere in the Periphery...

the avalon-class cruiser Katrina SteinR flys liltingly above some conviently un-named world. They're letting GunnR fly the blasted thing again.

CommandR: Are you sure this is the planet where Hatsu Pahin is hiding?

ScannR: accoring to the RadR he should be right under us.

GunnR: Let's blow it up!

DrivR (Drunk): buh thash wud be tooo essey.

CommandR: Right, we need drama!

Suddenly a beam of pure energy dramatically slices through the Katrina SteinR.

FixR: Logic drive is completely destroyed! Activate redundancy systems!

Hovering infront of the viewport in utter protest to logic is Ami, Hatsu, Hatsu, Hatsu, and Hatsu (now that's redundant).

Ami: Oh, just go away. We're trying to sleep!

CommandR (teary eyed): It's really you! all of you! Blake be praised!

Ami is suddenly inside the Katrina SteinR. She ties the crew up with licorice then commandeers the warship. The Hatsu get to work on various projects like fixing the scanner (impossible without the disk) and making mods for Total Annihilation. Christmas is coming and they're gonna be prepared.

Ami (wearing santa hat): Inner sphere, here we come!

Color me gone

Sun Oct 1, 2006, 6:08 PM
I've been so out of it that there's really no getting back in. To add to that, I lost the disk for my scanner so I can't even upload those sketches for Ranos and Sakurapedals. I will do that when I fix the bloody thing, but aside from that there's no more deviations from the Hatsu department. My art vehicle is out of gas, and I don't feel like pushing it all the way to the next waystation. But if I ever get there, I'll get Murray the mechanic to drive me back to the art vehicle and fill it up, as long as no bandits got to it first.

Hatsu the she-man trudged along on its way, but it waved goodbye saying "don't you sigh, I'm mindless anyway!"
